I came to limerick with my elderly mother and 2 young kids to visit relatives. I booked the hotel on short notice and hadn't really looked at the reviews. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by the friendly lady behind reception. I was pleasantly surprised at with the Room and its value for money. We arrived late so we did not get a chance to experience much of the hotel. However I did have time to have an enjoyable breakfast in the morning and a quick dip in the pool which was very relaxing.

3 blokes from England first visit and overall very happy with weekend.
Should've been 4 of us so upon check-in asked if we could change rooms to save some £. Delighted with service and response was triple bed room ready at 11am for us to change and get to our wedding. We returned about 230am Sunday morning and there was a wedding party still going on but we were only ready for our beds! Woke up to a late 1030am breakfast and service was no problem. Afterwards Some of us went for a swim, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi whilst others took advantage of a late checkout we had requested after 12noon. We Checked out around 1pm happy customers.

we did not review this hotel as it was a last minute decision to travel.on arrival first impressions was of an old run down recieption area. reciponist was pleasent enough but not frienly. family room we had booked was on the top floor. lift only goes to the first floor so we had a long walk from the lift up two flight of stairs to our room. room small seemed to be an attic room of some kind but was clean enough. ordered food in the bar. long wait starter came with maincourse no atsmophere in bar lounge staff not in the least bit friendly had not interest in us or giving us any locall information for trips etc.on the friday we arrived there was a wedding taking place which we had not problem with .however as our room was above the reception room we drew the line when the noise continued until 3am. my husband telephoned reception to complain and was informed that there was a wedding on and the porter would see what he could do.!! after a sleepless night with we ordered breakfast in bed. the waitress arrived put down the trays charged us seven euros and then asked for some of the chocolate bar that was on the table. you couldnt make it up!! on sat afternoon we tried to get some rest however another wedding had arrived and a band was playing between four and six underneth our window so not peace to be had. complained to manager who did move us to a quieter room which was okay however it had damp stains on the ceiling.sunday morning we waited fifteen minuets in the breakfast room for service from one off the four waitress's eight people in the restaurant and four waitress doing very little.my husband asked the manager could he please get somebody to take our order as at this stage we had had enough.we were finally honoured with one of the dreadful waitress . breasfast was cold eggs dreadful coffee couldnt stay there any longer so packed and got out.on checking out we were not asked how our stay was or anything else. . on reflection we should have reviewed this dive however when we checked in we were asked for payment up front which should have rang alarms bells but hey thats life.!!! my advice is to stay in your car at the side of the road if like us this is the only available hotel you can get.terrible place awful food and staff nothing good to see or say about this place. stay clear.

If you are looking for a hotel in Limerick, keep looking, because you can surely do a lot better than this one.
Main reason for choosing this one was the pool. It is very old, the water is quite cold and the changing rooms are in poor repair.
This hotel lacks any charm. It is at the roadside and it looks nothing like the official photographs posted.
