First it’s a very nice dining area using the cellar to break up into smaller cosy spaces gives a nice feel, plenty of space around and between tables as well unusual these days in restaurants. It felt more like quality dining experiences from thirty years ago where we used to dress up to eat out. That’s not to say that this place is in the past, clean contemporary style and a well constructed modern menu that offers something for all tastes with a very good efficient service from all the staff was evident from the start of our visit.
The food was also fresh, well prepared and served with style each plate a joy to look at with tastes to match.
There is obviously a skilled pastry chef, no bought in desserts here, our “puddings”were so good in fact more than that they were excellent and provided a fitting highlight to a fabulous dining experience.
Ok it’s not inexpensive but for the quality of food and the whole dining experience it was worth it, a lot of other people think the same the place was very busy and buzzing great atmosphere.
On my revisit list next time in Waterford.
