Excellent staff who give you very good instructions on how to drive the boat. Enough Tea, coffee and milk supplied to have plenty of drinks. Two gas hobs on board so we could cook bacon and sausages throughout the day. Ten of us on board who all had a go at driving the boat. Very easy to drive and great fun. A very enjoyable day was had by all. Thoroughly recommend.

Narrow boat staff very friendly, informative and helpful. Gave clear boat handling instructions. Boat clean and well equipped.
We sailed to Slimbridge, on route made bacon butties as we had an early breakfast. We booked a table at the Tudor Arms for lunch, definitely need to book. After lunch sailed back to Gloucester. Took 3 hours each way. Beautiful and peaceful on the boat. Lots of people waving. Bridge attendants all happy and smiling, made our day more pleasurable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would recommend it, especially for a special occasion.

A perfect family day out in the cutest narrow boat ever.
We had a fab time and everything was supplied: even tea and coffee in the galley.
Before we set off we had a lesson in how to handle the boat and the rules of the waterways.
We took turns at the helm, or enjoying tea and biscuits and chatting whilst we drifted along.
The canal was calm and beautiful.
We had a 16 month old toddler with us and he had a great day spotting ducks and swans, waving to passers by and even ( complete with tot sized life vest), helping his dad steer the boat.

We hired Otter for the day, and had my 88 year old father in law with us, and we had a marvellous day. From when we got there the helpful team at the docks were wonderful, showed us around the boat, showed me how to use it, and were so friendly and helpful. The boat was just what we needed, it had a stove and coffee, tea, milk provided and an inside and outside area, The Sharpness canal is really nice, it’s wide and open and slightly raised, so the vistas are much better than you get on a lot on inland canals. We went down to Slimbridge and had lunch at the Tudor arms (recommend it), and then returned, lots to see from the industrial bits of Gloucester, Saul Junction, and some lovely countryside, we even saw three kingfishers. Really recommend it.

Wonderful day. Good instructions for handling the boat. Very friendly people. We had 10 on board including 2 children who thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Weather OK but we were under cover anyway so wouldn't matter if it had rained. A very enjoyable day was had by all.
