Fabulous location for city centre. Parking just over the road in Multi storey car park. Make sure you get your card stamped in Premier inn reception to receive 20'/, discount.
The intu Shopping Centre has all you need under one roof, for both fab shops and dining.
So many bars to choose from in Derby City Centre and plenty of restaurants.

If booked in advance this is probably the best value hotel in the centre of Derby. The hotel is recently constructed and in the centre of Derby, close to many restaurants. There is no parking on site, but there is a public car park just across the street.
Check in was quick although I did not get chance to ask for a high room. My room was on the third floor overlooking the street. Not much of a view, but the room was bright and a reasonable size and well cleaned. Good size TV and desk with connections for USB for charging and both audio and video (HDMI) connectors for the TV. Bed was very comfortable and as the hotel is also quiet, I got a good night's sleep. Bathroom was clean and basic with a good shower over the bath. Only minimum toiletries (Two soap dispensers), but this is one reason why it is inexpensive.
I tried the restaurant for the traditional buffet breakfast, which is reasonable priced at under nine pounds. Very good range of food, however the hot food was a little robust from being under the heat lamps for a while (Somehow the eggs were ok).

Overall a good experience and excellent value. If you book ahead, the hotel will cost less than a meal for two in a restaurant!

Room Tip: Not sure how you choose a room - I did not have the opportunity to ask for a high room

they say a budget hotel but they are not that cheap. Beds are comfortable and rooms clean. Staff were hard to find but when did find them they were professional manner. There is no personal feel. Location is good. Overall if only staying for a night then you will get a good night sleep.

Good evening all

Once again no issues for the price and spot on location. Check in around 4PM parked opposite which was £6.80 when we left 09:30. Few beers in the bar and went into town. The room was cosy and warm, heard nothing all night.

Thumbs up from us.

Happy days

I had to stay here in a hotel with my young son for a visit to Derby museum. It is very clean and comfortable and does not have the impersonal feel of other budget chain hotels because the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, both the young men on the desk and the young woman who served in the restaurant. It is just across the road from the cathedral so very close to old Derby. We would certainly stay here again thanks to the very good staff.
