Just home from a super meal (2 adults and 2 whippets). Both had soup of the day and handmade pies, one steak one cheese and onion. Really tasty. I was stuffed after the pie but the chips were so delicious that I couldn't leave them.

Staff were super friendly and made us and the dogs feel right at home. They had a fab open fire going and some really nice music playing- unobtrusive and added to the relaxed friendly atmosphere.

This was our second visit and will certainly be going back. Couldn't fault the experience at all.

2 Adults & a 4 year old - After waiting over an hour for just a main course, on a very quiet Good Friday, we were expecting great things! Unfortunately there was nothing great about the food. Dry stodgy mash potato, which the little man even said it wasn’t nice, overly thick pastry on both pies, and the cheese & onion pie had practically no filling. It certainly wasn’t the “Ultimate Dining Experience” we had been told it would be by the waiter. To top it off, both the male and female toilets were awful, dirty and very smelly. The staff did try very hard, but this couldn’t make up for all the above. Certainly wouldn’t return and would not recommend.
