This review is covering two experiences (as they were so close together). I went in December with the family (wife and 2 young daughters) to watch Paddington 2 and then in March to watch Black Panther with my wife. In December, the prices continued to be ridiculously expensive and I paid just under £30 to watch the film. However, since then the prices have dramatically reduced to £5.99 per seat, and we paid less than £6 for the March ticket (with the meerkat voucher)! The cinema is comfortable, although if you are tall (6ft+) you may struggle. However with the new prices I am tempted to go a bit more often rather than on just special occasions.

Regarding the food, I can't comment as I didn't buy any from the cinema. The staff are there just for the wages but are not as miserable as they used to be. I am in a position where I am actually tempted to recommend the cinema! Well done Vue management team.

Another review about the freezing temperature in the cinema. Make sure you have overcoat, gloves, fleecy lined boots before venturing into the cinema. Also while watching the film we had three spotlights in the ceiling overhead. The place was lit up like Blackpool. Not good for watching a film. When mentioned to Manager she said the lights were required for Health and Safety! The temperature can be changed if necessary. Well, could the staff please go into the cinema and check it out. Enjoyed the film 'Darkest Hour' but all of us came out frozen to the bone.

This cinema could be very nice. Unfortunately whoever took the decision to alter the seating layout got it very very wrong. Half of the cinema had VIP seating with tons of leg room. The other half had economy seating with no leg room! It was like being squashed into an economy coach. Customer comfort in a cinema is vital. What a poor decision of management to do this in an otherwise nice place. Shockingly bad!

It is awful, the whole experience is below par. The ticket machines do not function, the staff are not much better. The seating is uncomfortable, and it costs £11 per person.
Shall go elsewhere in future.
