We have just had a one night stay here while visiting friends. The house and gardens are absolutely beautiful and it really doesn't feel like a regular bed and breakfast. Breakfast is plentiful and more than enough to set you up for the day and lasts you easily through to a late lunch! Dog friendly too and I must say my Yorkie adored playing chase in the grounds with the little black pug who lives on the premises. The court owner, Jane, is extremely helpful and friendly as are the two staff helping. All in all if you like modern run of the mill bed and breakfast this isn't for you but if you love something a bit different with a perfect mix of impressive historic country home but with a warm and relaxing atmosphere then this is definitely the place to stay.

Thankful that we booked this as our first night in England, it was such a quiet, reasonably priced and lovely place to stay. If only we didn't have six full days of walking ahead of us we would have stayed another night! No ensuite was no problem as we were the only guests. We would stay again and highly recommend this B&B to others visiting this beautiful little town.

Jane's beautiful English walled garden is not over looked, but looks over historic Alms Houses, (built by the family, as was much of Chipping Campden) Saint James Church, (where some of the family's ancestors are buried), and the wonderful Banqueting Halls, East and West (once owned by the family and now owned by the Landmark Trust and available for hire) To sit in this garden and look at the gems of Chipping Campden without having to move a muscle other than to sip coffee or wine, which ever you prefer or gently turn the Sunday papers while soaking up history. What a joy! The rooms and breakfast are what you would expect staying at a real English country home, excellent.

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous and historic home. Very comfortable and welcoming, the breakfast was brilliant, the outlook lovely, and Chipping Campden a jewel in the Cotswolds. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Room Tip: The best was the biggest and only £70!

We live in London and have friends who live in Chipping Camden who invite us to their Christmas party every year and 2011 was no exception. Rather than drive the 90-odd miles back to London after 11 p.m. or midnight, we decided to book into a B&B and found this gem, The Court, owned and run by Jane Glennie.

The accommodation is lovely, the house itself is of exquisite architecture with beautifully furnished rooms that are inviting and welcoming. The views over the Cotswolds are exceptional, as we enjoyed a glorious sunrise on a frosty December morning. The interior of this period home is decorated with historical, family paintings and portraits, antiques and unique artefacts and objects d’art.

Breakfast is served in a handsome dining room with a sideboard smorgasbord of cereals, juices, fresh fruit, jams and marmalade. Cooked breakfast is also on offer and a full English is delicious and indulgent. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and The Court ensures you want to come back again.

We do and we will and we won’t wait for that wonderful Christmas party to roll around in 2012 before we go back!

So reasonably priced and so much to offer!

Room Tip: Ask for Room No. 1 double, ensuite overlooking the garden!
