We booked a table for 8pm but we were not given our table until 9pm. The restaurant seating is stunning as us all the decor. Outside space is amazing, the views fantastic. The only downside is pretentious clientele!!! Food was superb service great once we got seated

I decided to treat my fella to a birthday meal at 20 stories.
It’s on the 20th floor so if you have vertigo or scared of heights, you’ve been warned.

We booked a table for the grill as the menu for the restaurant didn’t appear to be as friendly towards pescatarians.

The bar area reminded me of Skybar in Thailand and had a lovely atmosphere.
Bear in mind that if you want to just go for drinks and not food, they stop allowing people in without bookings as its regularly busy.

The cocktails were nice and there is a rooftop bar which as usual, the day we went it rained.

The food was lovely. We had sourdough croutons served with pesto paste and olive tapenade with olives to start and for our mains, we had COD cheek battered with chips and fish pie with mac and cheese and onion rings (we wanted to eat everything!)
We washed it down with a Rioja which the bartender forgot to charge us for WINNER!

I can imagine this being a prime spot in summer for drinks but with it getting quite busy, I’d recommend booking beforehand to guarantee entry!

We live across the road so have tried pretty much everywhere to eat in Manchester.
Loved the vibe as we entered the restaurant and very stylish without being OTT.
Great table by the window, excellent service and the food was good. The only criticism is that I felt (like a previous reviewer) that £27 for a small chicken breast, bit of asparagus and tiny poached egg was way too expensive. Around the £20 mark would seem a more fair price. Starters and desserts were priced fairly and overall we had a very enjoyable evening.

We dined here on Good Friday for my birthday. They say us at a window table as requested. The setting is lovely with brilliant views across Manchester. We had the chateaubriand, chips, mushrooms and wilted spinach for our mains with peppercorn and Bernaise sauces. It was delicious but the portions were far too small and didn’t match the price. The chateaubriand alone was £72 and the sides payable in addition. We ordered desserts to fill the hole (the chocolate fondant and peanut praline) which were also divine but still left feeling hungry.

The table service was good but it took far too long for our drinks to arrive. On one occasion my partner had to wait 30 minutes for his drink to arrive. When we arrived at 3pm they only had 3 people serving on the bar which was surprising given that it’s bank holiday weekend and how packed the restaurant was. This is what let the overall experience down. We flagged the problem with our table waiter and he advised that many people had raised similar issues. A couple of the drinks were removed from our bill as a result.

I would still recommend trying the restaurant out - the overall experience was fabulous. It just needs to work on service which could make or break!
