Stayed at this hotel on two occasions. Got upgraded the first time we stayed which was much appreciated as our flight landed at 12:30am.

Rooms are clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, nothing bad to say about the hotel at all! Really good value for money, booked through laterooms and it cost under £70!

The Phileas Fogg restaurant is a little overpriced, but the food is good so I guess you get what you pay for. But very limited menu.

Would stay at this hotel again!

For Manchester airport, it's one of the nicest hotels but your pay the price for it too, both in the room rate and the bar and restaurant bill. The rooms are fine with interesting themes but many are starting to look a little worn and could do with sprucing up. The bar and restaurant are again both pleasant places in their style and decor but certainly the bar is far, far too small for the size of hotel.
Given the choice of hotels that serve Manchester I'd have probably given this place just a 2 star rating but for it's one selling point that has had me stay here on a number of occasions and that is it is "in" the airport - when you have an early flight the ability to walk straight out of the front of the hotel on to the moving walkway to the terminal building with out having to faff about with transfer buses is great. It may only save ½ an hour at most, but when you are having to check in before 6am, for me every minute of sleep counts!

Airport hotels are usually just practical and functional.
This hotel was better than that! Check-in was efficient yet friendly. The concierge was helpful with all of our luggage logistics. The room was clean and very comfortable. The price was great!
There are enough restaurant and bar options to suit everyone and it was literally just a 2 minute walk into T2 of the airport. A great end to our stay in the UK.

Stayed overnight to get the free parking for our miami trip and was pleasantly surprised how nice the place is. We had an Italian themed room at the front of the hotel that was extremely comfortable and very well proportioned.

The bar and restaurant is a little overpriced (as expected) but not bad quality. I will stay here again definitely as it works out just as cheap to stay overnight than pay separate parking charges at the airport.

Booked this hotel through Late rooms for an advance rate of £64. Was inclined to book due to the location and it being connected to the airport.
We were flying to Orlando in the morning and liked the idea of being 5 mins walk from Virgin Atlantic Check In.
Arrived around 10pm by train from Edinburgh and was greeted by a very friendly male receptionist. Gave him my name and he attempted to check us in, unfortunatley on the system we appeared to be already checked in. The man apologised and said could he just check a few things through the back. We saw him running around in the background trying to sort out the problem. Eventually he returned to the desk and apologised again and said for the inconvienience of waiting he has upgraded us to a business class room with a view of the runway and apron!!!
We headed up to the room, it was lovely but we were tired and headed straight to bed.
Bed was lovely and comfy and for me being a nervous flyer I had a wonderful sleep. In the morning we lay in bed with the curtains open watching the planes taxi around Terminal 2. The best part was seeing the plane that would take us to Orlando arrive and watching it taxi to the gate!!
We are travelling from Manchester in September of this year and will be using this hotel again the night before we fly x
