I love this place! Been going for years, it's always quiet when I visit which I love, the staff are very polite and attentive and the food is amazing especially the naan breads

Myself, my husband and two friends had a gorgeous meal here at Amans. The food was delicious, the service was second none, the interior was very nice, clean and a pleasure to be in. We weren't rushed at all and was always asked if we were ready for our next course. They are also very reasonably priced. We're really looking forward to our next meal there. Why didn't we know about this place before!!!!

We had been to the Bangla Villa some years ago, I can't remember why we haven't been back. But it's a mistake on our part. Access is now from the main road, not the greatest impression from outside. Once inside though it transforms into a comfortable, clean & welcoming place. The staff are pleasant & friendly. The menu is a mix of all the old favourites & some new twists. The poppadoms & chutneys were soon dispatched. Starters of Garlic chicken tikka & Sheek kebab were brought promptly, both were well spiced, tasty & tender. Mains were Chicken Morris Massala & Chicken Sylheti Noble accompanied by pillau rice & naan. I thought the had dropped a clanger when they arrived, both curries looked the same, however the flavours were distinctive & very different BEWARE the portion sizes are huge. Cobra on draft @ £3:95. All in all a great night out, good food & drink @ a very reasonable price. On the way to the loo ( which was spotless) had alook @ some other customers plates & they all appeared to have the same quality as we had. One dish the Aman Thawa is on my list next visit

Booked in on a Saturday evening after a hard day at work.
Was greeted by a pleasant young waiter who left us to study the menu after bringing the Drinks (£4:90 for a 440ml Coke?)
Had a Chicken Purri and a Chicken Tikka starters that were bursting with flavour.
Waited a good 10 mins for the Main course of Chicken Bhuna and a Lamb Sylheti Aloo Gohst. with Taka Daal and Mushroom / Boiled rice.
They did make a mistake and brought out a few mins later the Lamb dish that we had ordered to replace the Chicken dish they had served .
The food was nicely presented and very tasty.
The young man brought a couple of small complementary glasses of Bailey`s with the Bill.
Had to question the one small bottle of coke for £4:90 when the Bill arrived and was informed it would have been cheaper had it been a Post mix ( from the Hose)
All in all a good meal.
