This hotel is beautiful, really eye catching as you come through to get to the restaurant.
The afternoon tea was incredible, the food was really tasty and clearly really good quality. Presentation was great.
The atmosphere could have been a little more buzzing, it seemed very quiet.
I also think that the staff could be a little more organized, and attentive. We had to try and get someone's attention for service and also when they forgot out champagne. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend

We had a very last minute weekend away and tried to get a room in the hotel but they were full, so instead tried the restaurant on the Saturday evening. Early signs were great, decor quite quirky and service excellent. We even sat next to one of the huge arched windows which definitely made it feel a bit Gotham! The food was nice but not amazing. Was a little underwhelming really and given that our bill for two courses and two glasses of wine was £97 we were a bit deflated. We decided to go check out the bar for an after dinner cocktail. Again the decor was very cool and moody, but it took 25 minutes for our two cocktails to finally arrive and they were quite ordinary (and another £24!). The place was very quiet too so the barstaff can't have been that busy.

I'd still like to stay in the hotel as the rooms look interesting but I don't think we'd eat or drink there again as there are so many other options in Manchester.

At the 6th floor of Hotel Gotham, it was a great surprise!
My scallops with chocolate powder and small cherries were delicious!
Good service and fair red wine by glass, the spanish Vina Real crianza 2011.
my wife loved beetroot and feta cheese tortelini. Fair price for the sophisticated cuisine.
The view is very nice considering Manchester is a little mess, in my opinion, in terms of architecture.

Really enjoyable meal here. Starters of cucumber cured salmon and chicken terrine. Mains pork for both of us. Would have liked something like a side salad or seasonal veg to be served with main instead of having to order it separately. Also would have liked the wine to be left at the table. But servers and meal were otherwise faultless

A wonderful birthday treat! Everything was exquisite. Tasty sandwiches and an array of mouthwatering cakes and desserts. Service was impeccable and set in stunning surrounding with an amazing view of Manchester. Definitely worth a visit.
