Good afternoon sir,

It's a real pleasure for us to read your comment. We try to offer the best for our clients. That's why, about the outside terrace, we are studying this possibility. In fact, it would be better to take a drink or have dinner outside when it's very hot.

We hope seing you soon

Spent 3 nights at this hotel situated by the Bordeaux Lac. From the moment I arrived, I found the staff extremely friendly and took the time to explain how to get to the centre of the City using the frequent tram service. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean, well appointed with a hairdryer and and soap. The buffet style breakfast bar was well stocked with hot and cold foods. Had two evening dinners all well cooked and enjoyable. The hotel is not 5 star but the staff could not do enough to ensure the stay was a pleasant one. I would certainly return.

It’s in a good location. Easy to get to. The room is super small but it has everything you’d need to make a stop for a night. I definitely wouldn’t stay there more than one day. It literally has a bed, a tv, and a bathroom. It’s pretty clean — the shower looked a little worn but the beds were comfortable and clean.

We attended a wedding nearby and Le Provençal was listed as a recommended hotel by the family. We stayed for 2 nights and found it very comfortable and clean with everything that we needed for our stay.

The staff was very kind and helpful. We are English speakers and the bilingual capabilities of those who were on duty made the stay even more pleasant.

The breakfast was very good with many choices.

I would stay there again if ever in the area.

We really weren't sure what to expect when choosing this hotel, but the minute we arrived and were greeted by the charming lady at reception we knew we had made a good choice. This particular person (whose name we didn't catch) made us so welcome - pointing out the tram stop - a couple of minutes walk away - and explaining what stops we needed to look out for to make sure we would get home safely! She also pointed out on a map the must see places in Bordeaux and made some great recommendations for places to eat and drink. She also went out of her way to help us arrange a trip to the vineyards.

Her friendly manner was reflected in all the staff we encountered who were always quick to acknowledge us with a smile and a greeting.

Turning to the room - it was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. We are travellers who don't spend a lot of time in our room so a clean and comfortable bed and a hygienic bathroom with a hot shower is most important to to us. Having a kettle was great with a selection of tea and coffee - no milk - though we didn't need it. There was a TV in the room, but we didn't bother with it.

Breakfast was a good buffet - continental but also with the option of toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. I was advised by my travelling companion that the coffee was excellent!

I would recommend this hotel.
