“Excellent location, normal holiday-let facilities, considerate owners.”
Reviewed 29 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Enjoyed our stay. Location great, in the middle of the old part of town. Apartment a good size for up to 2 people. As intended, we ate out, therefore limited kitchenette facilities perfect for us. Satellite TV not always usable, great selection of English DVDs if we needed entertainment. Stairs slightly challenging, okay once we got used to them. Shops, restaurants, museums all nearby. Free parking a short stroll away. Owners responsive to emails, cheerful and helpful.

Thank you for your review. You are absolutely right about the stairs! After 350 years the staircase is showing its age. Unfortunately English TV relies on good weather - when there are storms about, the signal goes.

“Great space and location for visiting the Perigord.”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The apartment met all of our needs. It was spacious, clean, quiet, well-equipped, light, and conveniently located for touring Bergerac, Perigord, and the wine country east of Bordeaux. A big plus was the nearby free parking lot. It has plenty of windows for cross-ventilation. We hope to return again one day.

Really enjoyed our stay and will refer the apartment to friends. Loved Bergerac and surrounds. Apartment location perfect. Size is fantastic and gives feeling of space. Sound proofing was very effective. Furnishings lovely and quaint.

“Lovely french apartment for two”
Reviewed 14 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We have just stayed here for 4nights for our anniversary, the apartment is just what you would expect in France, it has a lovely charm to it, with its lovely big shutters that open up onto a lovely little street, where the smell of local bread wafts into the room, heavenly, I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone, and would definately return here if we returned to this area of France, Patricia a lovely lady and couldnt do enough for you, but would add it is quite expensive to eat and drink out, but the local wine and cheese to die for.

“Great location in old town - no need for a car”

Surprisingly spacious apartment in old part of town though would suggest only suitable for 2 people despite an extra sofa bed being available, Very clean and tidy. Easy to get to main attractions and restaurants. A neighboring bar was a little noisy but it didn't bother us at all. Catering arrangements are generally good though some additional storage would be required for extensive self catering.
Pat was very helpful with the booking arrangements especially as we kept of changing the dates to fit with other arrangements. We were met at the station and taken to the appartment which was also very helpful.
