1 review A great holiday home in a village near Bergerac. Fully modernised with all mod cons. Large lounge-diner with exposed beams . TV, Wifi and loads of children's games. Kitchen with all large dishwasher, all cutlery etc and plenty of wine glasses. All facilities as specified by the owner. Very friendly neighbours. Location has lots of country walks and cycle rides . It is a short drive to Bergerac and its local market and with the usual hypermarkets.The location is perfect for visiting Perigueux, Monbazillac and the many villages along the Dore valley . Highly recommended.

Lovely house and very well equipped. It's location in a very pretty village means we visited a lot of vineyards and chateaux nearby and found some excellent restaurants. If the locals eat there, it's going to be good. Enjoyed relaxing in the garden sampling the local wine we'd bought in the evenings so it was a very good holiday.
Lots of toys and play equipment as well as the pool so if we'd had children with us they would have had a great time but on our second visit here it was just for grown-ups and very relaxing.

My wife Jackie and I spent two wonderful weeks last September,with Friends, in Les Cypres, it is a 15century oak beamed house, full of character yet remarkably spacious !! It is situated in the charming village of Laveyssierre in the Dordogne, probably one of the most beautiful parts of France. The house is well furnished, clean and very comfortable. It is extremely well equipped with everything you possibly need , for all ages ...and the beautiful pool is a bonus !
The village has a charm of its own,with healing waters, and the neighbours are wonderful,they even took us out one evening to a classical guitar evening and BBQ in a nearby Chateau.We hired a car ,which is necessary, and explored some of the vineyards and towns on and around the river. Dordogne..Visits to to the local markets are a must so are the Restaurants and Auberge. Food and wine are to die for,...try the Montbassiac, a local sweet wine with duck and fois gras...exquisite.!!! Have a wonderfuol time.

We spent a wonderful week as a family of 7 In this beautiful house! There were 6 adults, 1 teenager and a baby. The house was fantastic for all ages and we couldn't have asked for anything else. It was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The pool, table tennis, trampoline, toys.... Such fun for all ages!
The restaurant in the village was fantastic and so welcoming.
A great base to visit many lovely places in the area.
