We ate here on our first evening in Perigueux. As it was a warm evening, people were eating on tables outside; rather than in the dining room indoors. We hadn't booked, and they were fully booked that night. But we were still made very welcome by the lovely lady who was serving with her daughter (seemingly). They quickly found an extra table and chairs and set us up just opposite the main diners, on the other side of the small cobbled street. My partner had a pizza and I had a pasta dish (which wasn't large, but absolutely fine for me), with plenty of red wine and a couple of beers for 37.50 euros . The only downside was that there was about a 40 minute wait for the pizza - but we were warned about this when we ordered, as the restaurant was so busy. We didn't mind the wait. We'd certainly return. Does help if you speak French I think.

Also offers takeaway.

Having been turned away from a few restaurants in Perigeaux we decided to try this little pizzeria. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming lady who made space available during a busy time. Nice pizza = happy kids = happy parents. Would definitely return.

After reading the reviews we guessed that this would be good. It was even better than we thought... Really friendly service, great pizzas and a pretty location down a side street in the old part of town.

Having read the reviews we were looking forward to something a bit special but instead came away very disappointed, slow service, industrial food and small portions!

The restaurant is nicely situated in the old town and the decor is tasteful. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our party of four ordered three pizza's and one lasagne. There was a 45 minute wait for the service and the lasagne arrived 5 minutes before the pizzas. The lasagne was poor, the waitress confirmed that it was not "fabrication maison", which was obvious once you tasted it. It lacked seasoning and needed large amounts of parmesan cheese to boost the flavour. It was served by itself on a cold plate and everybody commented that a small salad would have complimented the dish. Without the bread you would have left feeling hungry. The pizzas were acceptable, not outstanding. They were not generous in size and you did not getting a feeling of value for money.

The choice of desserts was limited, we had a tarte du jour, a mousse au chocolat and two ice creams. Again nothing outstanding.

Unlikely to return, the pizza kiosk's in the area offer better pizzas and industrial lasagne can be found anywhere!
