We ate here on our first evening in Perigueux. As it was a warm evening, people were eating on tables outside; rather than in the dining room indoors. We hadn't booked, and they were fully booked that night. But we were still made very welcome by the lovely lady who was serving with her daughter (seemingly). They quickly found an extra table and chairs and set us up just opposite the main diners, on the other side of the small cobbled street. My partner had a pizza and I had a pasta dish (which wasn't large, but absolutely fine for me), with plenty of red wine and a couple of beers for 37.50 euros . The only downside was that there was about a 40 minute wait for the pizza - but we were warned about this when we ordered, as the restaurant was so busy. We didn't mind the wait. We'd certainly return. Does help if you speak French I think.
Also offers takeaway.
