We ate here on a warm September evening whilst staying in Perigueux to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and this tiny place was buzzing.
Fast forward to opening time (6:30pm) on a dark February evening and our experience was just as good. We came in September because this place does vegan pizza and it's a novelty as a countryside-dwelling vegan to eat out in France! I'd been wanting to come back ever since. Our chance came last Thursday and we grabbed it. We had our dog with us and asked if he'd be allowed to come in; despite this place being tiny, he was welcomed by both the proprietor and by the lovely French couple sat at the table next to us.
I had the vegan pizza again (with vegan cheese) which was as tasty as I remembered and my husband chose his own topping of balsamic onions, capers and mushrooms on a tomato base, which was delicious.
This place is great. They cater for all pizza lovers, including gluten free crusts. I highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.
