We turned up without a reservation and were able to book on a tour 45 minutes later. This is one of the oldest champagne houses and the cellars are fascinating. Miles of tunnels. The guide was knowledgable and the champagne tasting at the end was good. You can choose what level of champagne you drink when you book your tour, obviously vintage more expensive. We have visited vineyards around the world, but the history of this made it special.

Moet et Chandon is one of the big-house conglomerate's but that they make good Champagne and offer a nice tour of the caves beneath Épernay. It's worth doing while in town.

Visit times are strict at the house, we arrived in last moment and luckily did not missed it. Tour was informative and interesting. Cellar visit was impressive. Missed a bit personal touch in the end, tasting was a bit formal and stiff, but Champagne was enjoyable.

We highly recommend the tour it’s mind blowing! And everyone who visits champagne should go.

However this is a huge conglomerate of 70 companies including Hennessy, Louis Vuitton, Krug, Vivue Cliquot, tag heur etc.
the champagne was just ok and crazy over priced. They are selling a brand, a lifestyle, prestige not champagne but there are doing an exquisite job of that.

I highly recommend going to many small and medium family champagne houses to see what champagne is really about.

We visited the cellars on a very cold March day, the Moët and Chandon buildings are very impressive and the sense of their history is evedant as soon as you walk through the door. The visitors parking is good and seems adequate although our visit wasn’t at the peak time. The tour was lead by a very knowledgable lady who spoke English very well, I did feel the tour was a little rushed, a more leasherly pace would have helped particularly as the cellars go on for miles with many photo opportunities. The wine tasting consisted of a flute of Champaign, although this was very pleasant it would have been nice to have a couple of comparisons to try.
Defiantly with a visit.
