Tonight we arrived just after 7pm. The restaurant was empty but very rapidly populated with locals.

I had the "farmers" potato dish which was large and full of tart- cheese and ground beef with sauce (creme fraiche) went really well together. The potatoes were almost translucent & pale rosé. Really filling and only €13.90.

My wife had the grilled beef. ( bavette grille) which was also good. So good there was none left for me☹️ I normally finish my wife's dish but she enjoyed it so much there was none for me. The dish had gratin de jour which was lovely potatoes in cream sauce.

The staff were very friendly & spoke good English. A lovely place for a lovely dinner. Well worth a try

The main reason to try this restaurant is for the great traditional baked potato dish with your choice of incredible toppings and sauce. I had smoked salmon and creme fraiche/cheese sauce...it was to die for! Accompanied by green salad and (of course) a half bottle of champagne, it was a fabulous meal for about 35 euros per person.

The restaurant is small, family-run and on a quiet Epernay back street. Their speciality is stuffed potatoes, which are excellent, but this is supplemented by an extensive choice of regional dishes and a short list of well-priced good quality wines. We enjoyed an excellent meal with high quality ingredients, together with champagne, wine and water for less than 50 euros per head including tax and service. In fact it was so good that we returned for a second night later in the week on our way back from Burgundy. Great recommendation - thank you fellow Trip Advisors!

Cosy interior, full on a Saturday evening, excellent patates, interesting combinations. Nice choice of wines. Probably smart to make a reservation for the weekends, we were lucky to find a free table.

All the restaurants was full yesterday night in Epernay.

We were very lucky to find a table au Petit Fourneau. Phone Reservation on this occasion 2 hours before.

Diner in the second dining room of the restaurant, very less nosy, very friendly and simple and comfortable

Great range of tasty French food a la carte or at the menu.

The menu at €27 is really reasonable in term of price and quantity served.

The wine list is for all the budget. We definitely recommend Macon white and red wine very chilled and tasty.

The waitress was very nice, great sense of customer care. And With a really appreciated enthousiasme.

Great table. Not tourism food. Highly recommended.

Thanks again.
