You cannot pass by Paris and not try the Merveilleux! Its amazing in all its flavors, personally, le merveilleux (dark chocolate) and l'incroyable (white chocolate and speculos) are my favorite, and the caramel as well;;; finally they'e all very good. the Pain au chocolat is also to die for, try it.

We were in Le Marais and found a long line forming outside this bakery. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait but we were wondering what the fuss was all about. We found ourselves back in Le Marais and on the same street the next day and no line! So we went in and asked what was their most popular dessert - their meringue. After tasting these delicious creations, the long line we saw made sense. Too bad, we weren't able to return. On my next Paris trip, this will be my first stop!

Meringues, coated in whipped cream, rolled in crispy flavoured macaron-cookie-like bits. I tried their coffee flavoured one (they also have hazelnut, pistachio, cherry, vanilla, caramel, chocolate.. I think that's it.) Very sweet, very very light, fresh, crisp, and tasty too! A little expensive at 1.70 euros for a mini little puff of airy sweet crispness, but it was tasty! And it's fun seeing them making these treats fresh in-shop.

Found this by accident and so glad we did. The bakery only makes brioche and meringue creations. We had 2 minis - a caramel and a pistachio. They were €1.70 each and came in their own super cute box. Despite being bumped around Paris for a few hours they were still perfect when we devoured them once we got back to our hotel. And they were sublime. Am going to search out UK branch when next in London.
