I was disappointed to visit Gernika exposition which suggests they are exposing the Gernika but actually it is not the case and the Gernika remains in Madrid. I found this not clear and not well explained and it looks like fraud publicity because you are paying for something you think will see and it is not the case. Instead, in one room there is a huge Gernika copy without label and I think most visitor should think this is the real Gernika if they haven’t seen the real one before. Not fear.

The museum is not big and an hour or two is enough to see the collection.

It includes a lot of Picasso's work and other paintings which were in his collection.

The selection is good - from different periods in his life.

Recommended.

His personal collection is intriguing. The Guernica exhibition that is ongoing is a great history lesson. And the building is a gem in the lively Marais quarter.

When I left this exhibition, I was convinced that Picasso had been as mad as a box of frogs! Interesting collection of his personal pieces, many of the paintings are unsigned. Not sure I appreciate this sort of art but I'm glad that I visited.

Loved this museum. Beautiful building, lots of pieces of Picasso’s art (plus those of others too), and good information offered in multiple languages. Highly recommend.

If you aren’t a fan of Picasso this isn’t the place for you.
