Impressively flowered and decorated the garden still owned by the Senate allows to rest quietly in its english portion or to take advantage of the sun around the water pond.
It is the paradise of Tennis players, chess players, bowl players as well as children.
Walking around allows to discover statues and fountains which were in the garden of the palace of Marie de Medicis, former queen of France.

My husband and I recently visited Luxembourg Gardens while in Paris. It was a cold and rainy day and we were completely exhausted, but we still enjoyed the splendor of the gardens. They had a little snack hut where we purchased a warm crepe to eat while we walked around. I wish it was a month later when all of the flowers were in bloom, but it was still magical. I would highly recommend visiting here with a picnic!

Lovely oasis in Paris with excellent, secure children’s playground. Cafe nearby to playground and various delights: statues, boating lake and outdoor photography exhibition. We visit Luxembourg Gardens every time we come to Paris.

Stunning gardens with waterfalls, flowers, trees, winding paths, greenhouses and a pond in the Left Bank of Paris, France. You'll find puppet shows, playgrounds, remote controlled boats, concerts, etc.

Sweet park!

There are pony rides for the kids. 8.50 euro. Parents guide the ponies on a 20 min walk as a group.

Small boats to rent to sail on the pond.

Great playground.

No carousel that we found.
