Ate here after visit to the Army Museum on our last day. While the food may have been disappointing (my son’s “medium” steak was rare, my hot cheese salad served with cold cheese) the fact that after 6 days we finally received some French attitude was worth it! The waiter was not happy with the fact that it took me longer than 3 minutes to understand and decide on a menu item, nor was he happy with the fact that I asked about the Menu Formule when it was “clearly” not being offered! Pardonez moi, monsieur. The request for tap water was not well received either even though we ordered two beers. Lesson learned: don’t hop into the first place you see just because you are hungry. You will survive taking the time to look up a place on TripAdvisor!!

We popped in to La Source one Saturday morning looking for breakfast. We were welcomed warmly and seated straight away. We were the only tourists in at that time, surrounded by many French breakfasting. Our orders were taken quickly; 2 of us chose their set Petit Dejeuner - Fresh orange, coffee, croissant and Tartine, one of us chose a crepe. The orange was freshly squeezed, coffee delicious and the croissant was so good - served warm, crusty on the outside beautifully soft on the inside, and the tartine was also very yummy. So good that I was rather disappointed the following morning when we dined elsewhere (and it wasn't anywhere near as nice). Breakfast for 3 - 30 Euros.

Walking distance from Army Museum. Paid 15 Euros for cheese and a glass of wine, kinda expensive I think

We ordered a charcuterie plate which had liver pate. Those of us that ate the liver got food poisoning and the rest was history bon appetite!! Ruined our last day in Paris.

Been there for a lunch on our way to Eiffel: it was a random pick for us (what a mistake!). Friendly people but service was terrible: entrée (soup) and main course served literally at the same time. A minute later someone came and took back the main course plates (!?). Finishing our entrée, they served the microwaved main course. Extremely expensive for such a service and below-average food. Never again!
