Whilst this hotel was ideally situated for our business locations we needed to visit, thee are a few things which let this hotel down.
The lift is not working, this is not ideal when you have been on your feet all day working and have to go up several flights of tight, windy stairs.
My main grouch with this hotel is that for two single women travellers, we were not impressed to have men enter our rooms whilst we were in there. I had a man come in my room when I was sleeping, scaring me to death and my colleague had a man come in her room during the day, luckily she had not just got out of the shower. If your staff are not going to be proactive when giving out room key cards, my suggestion would be to at least make sure there are chains on the doors! When I called down to reception after recovering from the shock, I received no apology and was just told that my name wasn’t on the computer! The only good thing about this hotel, is the selection for breakfast compared to other hotels of this star rating.More
