We stayed at the Holiday Inn for 3 nights. We were greeted with very friendly staff at all times. We spoke with 5 different people and they were all able to answer our questions.

In the vicinity are 3 metro stops. It takes between 7 - 10 minutes to walk there. If you have a lot of luggage, it wouldn`t be that convenient. There are also restaurants as well as convenience stores and a marche franprix which we love because they sell bottled water for really cheap.

The room is always clean, the washrooms are huge. We actually got a king sized bed which is unheard of during my previous visits to Paris. It was really relaxing to come back to a clean and air conditioned room after a long day out and about.

Breakfast is rather expensive so we didn`t eat at the hotel. We would often grab things from marche combined with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Wifi is 7 Euros for 24 hours.

They also have a phone booth in the lobby so if you have a phone card, you can make semi-private calls without paying to use the hotel phone.

Also, the hotel is on a pretty quiet street so noise at night isn`t an issue.

We stayed 4 nights in mid August, 2011.We booked four rooms for our group. All four were different. The hotel is in more of a residential area so its quiet. For the budget traveler, there is a laundromate about 1 block and a little grocery store about 100 feet away for convenience! The hotel was good, however, our particular room was a little less desirable than the others received in my group. Some minor repairs were needed and it was not as nice as other rooms I saw. But for the price, its OK. You are in Paris! If you are on a budget, don't focus on the hotel, focus on the sites.

My primary requirements for a hotel are clean, quiet, comfortable and safe. This was pretty much all of the above but nothing special and certainly not the same quality we would get in th U.S. for the price. But that was to be expected so I was not disappointed.

We came at 2 PM to check inn and the room wasn't ready till 3 PM! also, the receptionst was aggresive and rude and if not for the intervention of the hotel manager, that was very nice and polite (gave us an upgrade room at the same price) we would have left the hotel with anger for the way he treated us. The hotel itself (rooms, location etc.) is very nice and well cleaned and organized. Breakfest is poor however.

I was traveling alone in Paris. The hotel is bit far from the center.
Not so many restaurant around.
Breakfast was good - staff not friendly. Overall experience was standard.
I might will choose another Holiday Inn nearer the center.

You're in Paris, but if you need a good place to sleep and shower this place will certainly do! Stayed here a bunch of times over the course of a couple of years. It is cheap, staff are good, and rooms are above average. No complaints...

Room Tip: It is the Holiday Inn...
