Just returned from a 6-night stay at B Montmartre, and it was perfect. Two adults and a teenager in a Premium room was definitely enough space, but you will live out of your suitcase with no drawer space (we asked for a second luggage rack and had no problems). The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Ruben, who magically produced a taxi from thin air for our return to the airport when our scheduled car was a no-show.

Place De Clichy is an excellent location - cafes, convenience stores, a supermarket, ATMs - anything you could need is all right there. It's the crossroads where very different neighborhoods meet (quaint Montmartre, racy Pigalle, residential Batignolles) and the two Metro lines will get you everywhere - the 13 line to the Champs Elysees (switch to the 1 line to the Louvre and Ile de la Cite) and Invalides for the train to Versailles, the 2 line goes to the Etoile (switch to the 6 line for the Eiffel Tower). Or get to the Eiffel Tower and see more of the city by taking the 30 bus to the Trocadero.

Because of the location on a side street and the inner courtyard, the hotel was amazingly quiet for the busy location. We kept the window open at night and heard only the occasional siren or horn and absolutely no street noise.

We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. Instead, each morning the first person up went to the boulangerie one block down Blvd des Batignolles for croissants, to go with espresso from the in-room machine.

Having traveled with small children, based on ease of getting around and access to food and shops, I would highly recommend B Montmartre for families. You may see comments about the neighborhood - it's true that the Pigalle/Blanche area is the "red light" district, but that is only along and south of Rue de Clichy. In Place de Clichy itself, you would never know you are anywhere near it. Walk up Rue de Caulaincourt to go into Montmartre and you will not pass anything inappropriate for children - the boundary is quite stark. You might want to avoid tours that include the Moulin Rouge, as you will travel along Rue de Clichy.

The hotel was in a good location and about a 20 minute walk to Montmarte, the Basilica, Moulin Rouge, & the Red Light District. The hotel was very hip and modern and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely small and the bathrooms were very, very tiny making it difficult to navigate. This is not the place for a larger person. The breakfast was expensive but was nicely presented and there was a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads pastries, condiments, and yogurts & juices.

Dear guest,

All the team is joining me to thank you for taking the time to share your opinion about your stay on the tripadvisor community.

We are glad to read that the staff friendliness and skills were appreciated.

We apologize if the room size did not met your expectations.
We are proposing five different categories from 13 meters square (single) to 25 meters square (Junior Suite).
All the rooms categories are offering all the confort expected at B Montmartre but we are inviting our guest concerned about space to consider higher standard room categories indeed.

It was a pleasure to welcome and we would delighted to welcome you soonin a larger room category for an excellent stay at B Montmartre Hotel, in Paris.

Warm regards,
Emmanuel Kangha

We loved our boutique hotel B Montmartre. They are the most accommodating and helpful reception personnel I’ve met in all my travels. Upgraded our room, guided us in our everyday activities and transportation and pointed us in the right direction for places to eat. A gem to stay in Montmartre. ❤️

We stayed at the hotel just one night , and we appreaciated in general our journey the staff was generally kind and helpfull , just feews details doesnt correspond to our expectation: the light in the room and bathroom was absolutely not enought to permit a simple make up ..., in the bathroom no space to staff our beauties , i asked at the breakfast a fresh squeezly orange juice, not a unusual request i think and it was not possible to have it . All the rest was very good
