Its advertised as the oldest restaurant in Paris and has a story to support that claim, which they are very proud of and the fact it was frequented by French nobility and later by the elite among artists, politicians, actors and writers. While the history is great, the food is even better. We were part of a tour group and had a fixed menu to choose from but their were adequate choices in each category and all were superb. As part of a large group each of the offerings were sampled by someone in the group and everyone raved about the taste and presentation. We were treated to a fine white and red wine accompanying the meal and then fabulous desserts. Service was efficient and friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone!!
