Went there at around 9pm on a saturday night. We queued for about 15 min to get in as the place is rather small. Had the beef bao bun burger which was really good. Meat was tasty and not overcooked. Not your everyday burger (no cheese). Not too many toppings in the burger but enough and all tasty and fitting well with the other ingredients. We had the tempura which was good as well. Im usually not a big fan of tempura as there is often lots of batter but this one was perfect. The chicken salad was good as well but nothing special. Havent tried the sweet potato fries. Service was ok. I had the cocktail with alcohol and wasabi which was really great. Highly recommended. Overall a nice burger restaurant which i recommend. Price was mid-range.

My cousin and I came here on a Sat night and the queue wasn’t too bad at all, we were seated within 25 minutes. Food service is very quick and the food itself is delicious and full of flavour, pretty reasonably priced too. Can’t wait to visit again!

Having spent two-and-a-half weeks travelling through France, Italy and Germany, I think Siseng may well have been the location of the greatest meal we had on the whole trip. The tom kha kai was sensational and left both of us full and exceptionally happy.

For sure the place is small and rather busy, but you are made very comfortable by the friendly hosts and you really can't argue with the value, either.

The food here lives up to its hype and both the beef and chicken bao bun burgers are to die for (although we both loved the chicken one even more). Amazing cocktails - try the Tora!Tora!Tora! which is a whiskey lime drink with chili and chocolate :)

We visited Siseng having read the reviews on here.
Yes, it is crowded, no it's not the place to go for a quiet meal but the staff were charming and helpful and went to great lengths to make sure we understood the menu (big kiss to Amalie!).
We started with spring rolls-crammed full of chicken and veg, then went on to the burgers with 5 spices accompanied by the sweet potato fries and the tempura vegetables-all excellent and quickly served.
Although busy, we did not at any time feel hassled to eat up and get out.
Well worth a visit if in the Gare du Nord, l'est, place de la république area.
The canal is fun to walk along and don't miss the fab ice cream shop Sucre Glace (turn left out of restaurant and it's in the opposite side just near the bridge!
