After a warm welcome by Mille who spoke excellent English we ordered the traditional meat and fish meals that were served in a base of Injera in a shared tray with additional soft and tasty Injera.

The four types of meat, the spicy fish, two vegetables, salad and soft cheese were all of high quality and the taste was as good as we have tried in London and Milan.

Another experience worth repeating.

We went on a Wednesday evening and thoroughly enjoyed fresh njera with nicely spiced meat and vegetable sauces. The lamb was tender and the service excellent. We all agreed that this was as close to the original cuisine as we have been since a longer visit to Addis in 2005. Well worth a visit.

I am a huge fan of Ethiopian food and have been to dozens of Ethiopian restaurants. This restaurant is the best I have ever been to. I particularly recommend the vegetarian plate. So good!!!

The quality is excellent and the portions are great. The ingera (ethiopian flat bread) has the real authentic flavor (unlike some other places where they make it from normal wheat flour). The staff simply make you feel at home; once the waitress even showed me how to eat the meal more traditionally. the ambience is cozy and romantic, the surrounding area is nice too. I strongly recommend this to people who love Ethiopian food as well as to anyone who wants to try the cuisine for the first time.

A small Ethiopian restaurant at the bottom of the Mouffetard district, with two very friendly hostesses who advised us on the different items on the menu. As traditional, we were all served on a shared injera pancake, with enough food for a full meal I would have preferred a spicier flavour but I figure the cook is wary of the reaction of the customers! A couple of Ethiopian dinners came later and were provided with additional chili powder to achieve the proper level of fierceness! The only downside was that the restaurant was out of Ethiopian beer. A very pleasant evening all together!
