A charming Boutique hotel, tastefully decorated and conveniently located within the walled city of Aigues-Mortes. Friendly welcome by the owner.
Shops, restaurants and some activities are all within walking distance of the hotel.

The airconditioned rooms are large and beautifully decorated in Provencal style.
My room was on the street side but it was not noisy at all. Breakfast was perfect and enough to give you a jump start for the day.

Upon check-in, I was given a free parking card, courtesy of the hotel, as visitors are not allowed to park inside the walled city. I can highly recommend this gorgeous little hotel and next time I visit the region, I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed for a week and could not have made a better choice. Gorgeous Aigues Mortes' charming squares just a step away from the cool and art-filled rooms and courtyard garden of this special hotel. We swam every day in the pool- just big enough- surrounded by old stone walls, bright flowers and the resident tortoises. Bedrooms are charming, clean and comfortable and our hostess Anne was gracious and friendly. Just lovely.

What an elegant, charming, boutique hotel! Extremely friendly staff, beautiful breakfast, great location. The home was originally built in 1863 and the 18 room hotel carries that charm. It is a bit difficult to find but worth the effort. I highly recommend this hotel as we stayed here 3 nights while touring the champagne region. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for 8 days during a photography trip in the region. Anne could not have been more welcoming. We had room 4 at the front of the building. Beautifully designed room, wonderful furnishings and a really comfy bed. Toilet and bathroom were kept spotlessly clean and the little wardrobes in the corner of each room were actually really roomy giving us plenty of space to store the large amount of luggage we took with us. Break fast was somewhat loaded with carbs as you would expect in France but was very fresh and tasty every day. Really cute quirky hotel with many delightful rooms to sit and chill out in. There is a lovely walled garden area to the rear of the hotel which doubles as an out door serving area for the restaurant behind on some but not all nights. We ate here every morning and then had no need for lunch and would eat out in the evening. There are three resident tortoise in the garden and a lovely old dog who wanders around and comes up for the odd cuddle. He does not pester you so dont be dettered if your not a dog lover. if you make a fuss he will be your friend if not he will leave you alone.

There is a pool in the garden but it is not heated, however after a really hot day out on photo shoots we wound the pool most welcoming, even just to sit with your feet in the cold water.

Cars are not allowed within the walled area of the town but if you are stopping over at the hotel Anne will give you a pass to get your car out of the car park when needed.

Wifi is free and works very well within the hotel, re sets each day but not a problem.

We felt this to be one of the best places we have ever stayed when away from home. Anne made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will be returning to stay here again.

This hotel has no air-conditioning, which was missed, but was not uncomfortable. It appears to be ancient and the stairways are heavy stone/concrete, much like the walls of the town of Aigues-Mortes. It is not handicapped friendly. No elevators.

The owner was delightful. The room was clean, bedding changed daily. Breakfast was included with the room and it consisted of delicious pastries and breads. The coffee was delicious.

There is a dog on the premises who joined us for breakfast each day...Rahoul....and two turtles that sauntered through the outdoor dining area each morning. Some guests didn't appreciate the dog or the turtles, but I think it added to the charm of a one-owner business that doubled as the owner's home. I loved it!

During the daytime, my party was touring with the Create-Away Photography professionals. If you enjoy photography, you must, must, must contact this group for the best photo opportunities in the south of France. www.create-away.com

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the courtyard are beautiful
