The external space in the courtyard style garden is indeed charming and sunny, a place of tranquillity. However, the interior is very basic which made me wonder about the 300 euro security deposit for any potential breakages. A 2 ring cooker top and a microwave for cooking and a small fridge for storage. The bedroom is of a reasonable size with an eclectic mix of sheets and blankets. The accommodation is located down a narrow dead end street south of the Boulevard D' Orient. So about a 10 minute stroll to the Place de la Comedie (central area in Montpellier) and 1 minute from the nearest tram stop. Parking is available for 5 euro per day immediately outside the accommodation, payable to the owner.

As stated the feature is the garden and pool but unfortunately on arrival the pool was unusable as it was full of plant debris, on the bright side by the 4th day this was clearer.

There is a very good patisserie and wine shop a short walk away in Place Carnot and we very much enjoyed sitting out by the pool having a glass of wine and relaxing before heading out for dinner in Montpellier.
