“south of France perfection”
Reviewed 25 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

I want to spend every summer here! Perfect town in the south of France, beautifully decorated with the best hosts. Right in the center of town, but quiet and peaceful. Gorgeous views, close to restaurants, saturday market, and all the town has to offer. I can't wait to come back!

“Perfect property in Provence!”
Reviewed 17 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Susan and Adrian are charming hosts to their beautiful apartment in the center of Uzès! We found our second visit even better than our previous stay because they have added a pool to their garden. and made it accessible for the Chez Vous guests. The apartment is just steps from the heart of town where there is a great local market 2X a week. It is beautifully decorated and feels homey and elegant at the same time. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is fully fitted out for the most discerning cook. Relaxing with a glass of wine in the living room overlooking the garden is a perfect way to end the day! We hope to return soon!

“Stunning”
Reviewed 15 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This was the second time I have used Commendable Rentals. The apartment in Uzes is stunning, comfortable and most importantly a home. I can say enough about this company as they are at the ready for anything you may need to make your experience the best it can be.
As far as the town of Uzes - it is definitely worth the trip. A walking village where the locals are wonderfully welcoming, great restaurants and history abound. The town is conveniently located to many other villages in this part of France. It serves as a great home base. If however, you don't want to travel, it is a great place to relax and rejuvenate.

“Live like a privileged local in elegant townhouse apartment - centrally located yet quiet”
Reviewed 1 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This airy apartment in a historic townhouse was recently renovated to an exceptionally high standard. We loved being only a block or so from the atmospheric Place aux Herbes with its shops, cafés and biweekly market, and yet we could retire to the privacy and quiet of the spacious, antiques-filled living room and very comfortable double bedroom. The loft bedroom would be fun for children. All the mod cons are included in the smart bathroom with walk-in shower, double sinks and separate loo. The kitchen was equipped with all we could ask for. Although the apartment is steps from several excellent restaurants, it was fun cooking up a dish or two with the local Provençal produce we found at la marché. The large dining table is homey for the (very) occasional kitchen supper. The owners were most helpful in answering our requests for info and recommendations.

“Enjoyable, comfortable apartment in central Uzes”

To stay in a charming, newly renovated apartment in a 16th century house in an old French town is a treat. Even the staircase going upstairs is a unique design. The apt. is very spacious with rooms to the front and back ensuring a cross breeze in hot weather. We were very comfortable. It is centrally located. Although parking in old towns is always a problem, there is an underground parking garage nearby (you can purchase a weekly pass). Also visit the "Jardin Medieval" for history. Lots of restaurants nearby. We radiated out from Uzes to other towns nearby. We had an activity filled week here.

Thank you so much for writing. We were glad that you could discover this wonderfully historic and active French town, and its rich surrounding. From Roman treasures like the Pont du Gard, to great wines, truffles, sunflowers, and lavender. We think that this is the best of Provence.
