The shower cubicle is so small that when you try to turn in the shower you knock into the shower controller which adjusts the temperature. Wifi wasnt working apparantly the rain stopped it ???. Can't really complain too much considering it is only a 2 star hotel.

Room Tip: Get a bigger shower

A lovely hotel, actually situated on the Voie Sacree route. Ample free car-parking and free Wi-Fi were a draw to us. It is a 20 minute walk to Verdun centre, with a nice selection of bars and restaurants, though not all were open during our 5 night stay even though it is June. Staff were friendly and helpful with good language skills, and a handy map was supplied. Its location allowed us access to the main road system to tour the many and various historical sites in this area. There is no air-con installed, which may cause a problem, as it was humid at night during our stay. We had a ground floor room so could not leave the window open, for security reasons. All that said, we would highly recommend this hotel, and return to it ourselves if the opportunity arises.

Room Tip: Take a fan in hot weather.

The bed was good but the location of the hotel very poor, There was not tea and coffee in the rooms and no hotel facilities to provide this. The breakfast was samey and not of very good quality, bread and cheese, bread and jam, and a choice of two cereals. could do better. the reception staff were super and the bar area was not a bar area but a seating area where the receptionst jumps up and down to serve the odd beer. and it closes far too early.

Worth the money pretty basic but if you are a battle field tourist then stay here decent walk into town and you will enjoy you're meal.
Staff very friendly and helpful. I assume the bar stays open later than 9.30pm in high season.

Room Tip: The wifi is free but reception is not that good in the rooms. But don't let that put you off exc...

Eight men on a battlefield trip. All we needed, and got, was a clean comfortable bed, hot running water and a good restaurant nearby. Sure, the continental breakfast was lacking in protein, but it was fresh and set us up for the day ahead.
Just up the street there's a boulangerie serving filled baguettes every morning .Worth taking a snack in the car..it can be a long way between eateries in the Lorraine countryside.
Also, within 5 mins walk of the hotel, is an excellent bar/restaurant, Le Brasero.
