We sat outside (our B&B hostess) made reservations for dinner! Inside is not large---outside is covered, they have heaters placed high in the exterior space and they also provide warm blankets to ease any chill for their customers...very nice gesture.
They offer a variety of galettes and crepes, and other foods. Wine, beer.... we enjoyed a lovely French Chardonnay with our meal...we ate the galette with mushrooms, ham, onions, bacon, cheese and a cider sauce---they were delicious. The wine was a perfect pairing. The creme brûlée was FABULOUS---Bayeux is known for their dairy products---happy cows!
Service was quick and friendly, met other tourists from the USA---everyone was enjoying the atmosphere and the meal. The restaurant is near a small river. Prices were average for the quality of food.

The owner is so warm and engaging. The meal was excellent. They have a lot of pride in their food and their service. There was a family celebrating a birthday and the family and owner were having a great party of a time- lots of genuine laughter.

At 2045 we went and it was full- we waited for a table just a few minutes while two tables emptied. At 2200, it was still 80% full.

Easy food menu- galettes, crepes, and a more full set of options. Food was delicious. Very comfortable.

We were recommended this creperie by our B&B and booked when we passes at 6 for when it opened at 7. It was heaving when We got back at 7.05 and even though it was chilly outside was fairly full and they turned away at least 6 couples whilst we were there. Atmosphere good and food very good at reasonable price.

After walking out of the L'Assiate (where the service was non-existent) it was a pleasure to find a casual style restaurant with good food and prompt service. We even met another couple at the next table and chatted throughout our meal. The portions are plentiful, yet rather mediocre in flavor. It's a good bargain for some quick, satisfying food.
