If you are in Bayeux, be sure to spend an evening at this wonderful restaurant/ wine bar.
There is an extensive wine collection and the owner is quick to recommend a wine to make the perfect accompaniment to what ever culinary delight you have opted for.
My partner and I indulged in his own Chardonnay to enjoy alongside a fantastic French onion soup and a very tasty herring and salmon terrine, before moving onto a chateauneuf du pape with our rib of steak and cheeseboard. Whilst I was disappointed with the steak, that reflects more of my personal preference for filet than anything else.
The staff are fantastic and it is them, the owner in particular, that make this place an absolute joy to visit
