Ideal for a short stay in Arles (which is probably all you need unless you're a real art or antiquities buff). Driving in is fun but don't use the address for satnav as you end up by the river in front of blocked roads. Geraldine on reception guided us in with a running commentary by phone! Staff all pleasant. Room (15) spacious but pretty old and tired (but what isn't in Arles). Pretty poor bathroom and ludicrous WC in our room. View onto the square but you do need to close the windows to drown the noise (but the sound insulation of the windows is effective). As mentioned in another review breakfast is very poor; it's as if they don't want you to have it there, and at 12Euros a head it's not good value. Fruit cocktail from a tin in a plastic dish with rusted hinges sort of summed it up. However, wouldn't want to put anyone off the hotel as there are positive points - just don't have the breakfast :).

Room Tip: Our room facing the square had an interesting view but it was noisy

This is a brilliant little hotel right in the middle of the historic city of Arles. Situated in the bustling and lively Place du Forum, the rooms are surprisingly quiet at night. All the staff are incredibly helpful and bilingual. Scanning and printing a number of documents for us was no problem at all. There is a fabulous courtyard with swimming pool and bar, where breakfast ( which was delicious (and good value at 12 Euro)can also be taken. The bedrooms were well furnished, excellent firm beds and powerful air conditioning. Overall, the hotel was simply first rate and we would definitely stay again. If driving, don't try and drive into the Place du Forum as there is no parking there. Park by the amphitheatre.

The hotel room was very nice and really big. The air conditioning worked great, and it was needed as it was very hot the week we were there. The bathroom was very large. The whole place was clean. Also in a great location.
What was even more important to us was the assistance of the staff. A member of our family left a necklace in the bathroom. When we contacted them, they quickly sent it to us in the mail with no mailing charge. Also they were very helpful finding us a way to get to the train station on a Saturday when no taxis were allowed in the city. I'd definitely stay there again.

Breakfast at this hotel was a total shambles. The staff couldn't cope with a group booking and the other guests staying. There were not enough tables for everyone to sit at, they were left covered in dirty plates, with only one man serving. There was a rotten apple in the fruit bowl and the others were well past their use by date.
We didn't like our internal room . The reception girl was extremely rude. Would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Loved the pretty pool which is in a walled garden area and the location right in the centre of the town opposite van Gogh's night cafe. Staff lovely and really helpful.

Breakfast was very good and served in the elegant dining room.
