Best drinks and cheese selection to go with your cocktails.
Waiters are charming and very pleasant.
Stay at the bar and listen to French music.

We just returned from a 3 hour lunch at La Miranda restaurant located in the hotel. It was a preset menu - chefs choice - and there were no disappointments . Start to finish everything was absolutely delicious not to mention the ambiance . We chose to eat in the garden area and it was very peaceful even though other tables were occupied. The red mullet fish was my favorite course served with vegetables in a delightful foaming sauce. All the dishes were excellent and we enjoyed the sorbet served after the last main course and prior to our dessert. The special drink made from garden herbs was very unique and the perfect ending to
a magnificent meal we will never forget. Merci to all the staff !!!

This place could be a 1-star. The food and service both warrant the rating. We ordered the Chefs menu (vegetarian and non-veg). Both meals were exceptional with each course better than the previous. Oyster, fish, asparagus app, desert...all awesome. Wine was super too. Fo here and take your time to enjoy the experience. You will luv it.

Amazing hotel. Beautful old calssic french rooms, with great restaurant. Excellent staff. Only thing i would say was challenging was getting to the hotel driving in as it was in the heart of Avignon. 5 star all the way

Dear Guest,

We thank you for your feedback following a recent visit with us.

We are glad that your experience was overall a positive stay as much by the hotel as by the restaurant. However, we are sorry for the inconvenience you had finding the hotel. Our property which is located in the heart of the city, where our neighbor is the emblematic palace of the popes, is reachable by a cobblestone street that adds to the history and charm of the city. This narrow street is accessible by all vehicles and can only be borrowed by the residents of the hotel through a system of bollards that are managed by the team at the front desk. This permits to limit the noise of the cars and enjoy even better the close surrounding of the hotel.

We hope to have the great pleasure of welcoming you again at La Mirande.

Kindest regards

It is really quite hard to express just how spectacular it is to be sitting under lights with the Pope's palace flood-lit above you. The food is excellent. It feels like you are in a secluded garden in an ancient untouched city. Which, in fact, you are.
