We stayed here for 3 nights in a superior room which was in the modern part of the hotel. The room was very large with a sofa and small balcony although due to a mini heatwave it was too hot to sit there. There was a fridge in the room and they supplied Loccitane toiletries which were readily replaced. There was air conditioning in the room although it did struggle in the extreme temperatures. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We didn't eat in the hotel as it was close to so many lovely cafes and restaurants. The hotel is in an excellent location being a 5 minute walk from the station and from there it's a 5 minute train ride to the TGV station for Eurostar. It's really easy to walk to all the main sites in Avignon and would definitely return on another trip.

Room Tip: Apparently rooms in the older section are nice but we didn't see them.

Location is excellent - 5 minutes walk from the main square and close to all the sites, The deluxe room was spacious if somewhat austere. The hotel, oddly, incorporates a functioning Jesuit chapel which you walked through to get to the room!
The courtyard was full of rubbish and we were disturbed every morning by men working in the courtyard operating some sort of very noisy machine.
The pool area is a real advantage in the centre of Avignon (if a little hard to find) but there is no shade! A few umbrellas would help.

Stayed here in late July.

Found the rooms to be clean, well maintained and spacious (with the excpetion of the lavatory, which was a little small).

Good breakfast.

Cool and shaded, which was very welcome in the heat of July.

Wel situuated for exploring Avignon - withon easy walking distance of the main sights.

Would happily stay there again

Lovely hotel, however my deluxe room, which was in the annex had the strangest entry system I have seen. It looked like a load of porta cabins stacked on top of each other.

The room was good though, with l'occitaine toiletries provided. There was a small balcony and plenty of seating.

I would recommend trying to get a room in the old building.

Having paid for a deluxe room disappointing to find that toiletries are not replaced and no water replaced either on a daily basis.
One would have expected this to be a minimum standard that would be acceptable for this establishment
