Beautiful castle, the room and the bathroom we stayed in was big and decorated in classic French style (perfect match to the castle). One of the absolutely most stunning places we have stayed in. Nice big pool and since there are only a few rooms it is very calm. Great breakfast and personal service.

We have stayed at numerous chateau hotels and B&Bs, in fact seven in France on this 3 week trip, and Chateau du Martinet was perfect for us.

A warm welcome and friendly assistance with restaurant recommendations from our gracious host, Oliver. This is a B&B, and both the bed and breakfast were A+ quality with large, tasteful period-decorated rooms with AC, huge bathrooms and generous quality breakfast with local cheeses, meats and excellent baked goods.

The Chateau offers guest beautiful common rooms and grounds with a lovely pool area. It is proximate to Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and the Ventoux wineries. We stayed at Relais Chateaux properties and one managed by George Blanc this trip and my wife and daughters just loved and quite frankly preferred the elegance and calm of Chateau du Martinet.

As part of our tour through the Provence we had the pleasure of staying one night in this magnificent place. The chateau is situated on a large piece of property with beautiful landscaping and surrounded by century old trees. A real classy location where the host Olivier did his very best to make us feel welcome and help us around for the moment we arrived. The rooms are exceptionally large and beautifully decorated with a large ensuite bathroom including a bathtub, walk in rain-shower and separate toilet room. All in all the rooms breaths comfort and romance, so it would also be perfect for a honeymoon couple ; ) It was a very hot day but inside the castle it is cool and also the large outdoor pool offers a perfect refreshment option. As you can read we were very impressed and we would definitely recommend a night or more in this lovely place and feel a bit like a royal while staying there :)

First time we have stayed in a chateaux, lovely buildings and room, host was friendly and because they didn't serve food in the evening he organised a lift into town and a restaurant booking for that evening. Well worth a stay over.

The Chateau and the rooms are impressive: large, beautifully decorated in old French style, comfortable bed, huge, new and clean bathroom, and with a great view of the park. The park is also impressive, huge and with ancient trees from all over the world. Breakfast was plenty with fresh and local products. Carpentras is strategically located and short drive from wineries, Nimes, Avignon, Orange, Roussilon, and many other villages/town. Perfect place to relax or use as a base to visit Provence!
