Wow wow wow..
I came here three years ago for lunch on my own and was blown away by the food and also the stunning hotel, it's grounds and the outdoor dining space.
This time I took my girlfriend for an evening meal and it was just as good, if not better. As it was a bit cold, we ate inside, which is a lovely intimate room.
We had starters of the fish tartare and the langoustines, amazing (the latter, picture attached).
For main courses we had the lamb and John Dory, the lamb was so tender and the fish so delicately cooked.
We both had the cheese to finish and a great selection of goats cheese, which was perfect as my girlfriend can't eat cows cheese.
The chef also did the rounds and saw each table, a lovely man.
Why this is only 1 Michelin star, I haven't a clue, it really should have 2.
