Lovely camp site stayed in the high end chalets with hot tub these are very private. Never hard any noise at night so not sure what people moaned about. Pool is noisy and the restaurant is expensive for the basic food they serve. You can watch the entertainment there in the evening which is one of the worse I have ever seen.... so bad. On a good note the place is kept clean and so are the pools. Chalets are basic also the high end one. Suppose it is a camp site. Reception staff excellent speak every language under the sun. Many French here and some English. My 2 14 year old twins totally loved this place and I never saw them, so result. If you want to go to beach take the car. W stayed for 2 weeks and I was ready to go home after 10 night. If you drive from the uk leave on Friday late afternoon and drive as far as you can if you go in august. Perfect holiday if you have kids!

I stayed with my brother and his family in a cabin. The weather was beautiful at the end of August. The kids loved the pool with the waterslides and the adults enjoyed the spa pool while they were at kids programs. There are a lot of beautiful day trips very close by although the resort itself is on a busy road a few kilometres out of town. A large Carrefour supermarket within driving distance meant we ate well without having to pay the expensive prices at the resort cafes and supermarket. The site is large and a bit hilly but they had a courtesy bus that circled the site every few minutes. For non Europeans remember you can't wear swim shorts in pools in France.

Our second visit to this camp site and loved it, hope to go back again. Fabulous play areas, pool complex, beautiful setting and feels very secure. We booked with eurocamp, their caravans seem a bit dated compared to the others there but was clean and our reps Derek and Joanna were great. The pool area is clean and well kept and you are generally able to find a sun bed at any time of the day. Only downside is the mini market which seems to have changed hands since last year - not as well stocked and often large queues in the morning. Otherwise cannot fault this site, there's a lot going on in the area too.

We stayed at the site for 10 days in August. It was our first visit to a Yelloh site and we were very pleasantly impressed. The site is clean and well maintained.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and they took us to our caravan quickly and efficiently. We had a couple of niggles when we arrived and they were each fixed within 30 minutes.

The security were on the ball and friendly, the car barriers worked great on recognising the car number plate, we did not find the rules over the top in the park and there were more than enough sun beds.

The caravan was well equipped and clean. Yes they seem small initially but they are somewhere to sleep and cook after all and they are all you need. The caravans are separated enough that you have some privacy which we liked.

There is more than enough to entertain the kids. Ours are 7 and 12 years old and with the swimming area, lazy river and slides (which were used over and over again) and along with the play areas, bouncy castles, football pitch, volleyball court etc they had more than enough to do.

Neither participated in the kids clubs as they did not have time but they did get involved in some of the tournaments, zumba classes etc.

The life guards maintained the pool was well and removed towels of people who are trying to reserve them for the day which meant that there were always bed available when you arrived.

There are several supermarkets within a 5 minute drive of the park and a great take away pizza joint just down the road in a lay-by. Frejus and St Agulf beaches are excellent with good facilities and we spent every other day at some point at the beach.

All in all an excellent place to stay and close to lots of things to do if you want to get out and about.

Cons;
License plate recognition barriers that don't recognise your license plate
One way system that belongs on the Krypton Factor
No driving on the campsite after midnight, but a disco & karaoke that can be heard across the campsite into the small hours
Too few staff to help too many holidaymakers, especially at reception
No shorts in the pool
No inflatables in the pool
No masks in the pool
No swimming in some pools
No sitting on the sofas in the bar, unless you're ordering from the menu, but not the snack menu
Etc.

Pros;
My five year old loves the waterslides, which he is too young to use (thankfully, the officers, sorry, life guards around the pool are pretty relaxed about this, but only this)

After five days of being told what to do and what not to do, I have had enough and have booked into a hotel in Cannes for the remainder of our holiday. Hopefully, the beach will be more relaxed.

What has happened to the laissez faire atitude of our French cousins?
