Literally stumbled across this restaurant whilst walking the back way into the old town. Noticed the excellent rating on TripAdvisor and was drawn to the cosy intimate atmosphere and quirky decor. The food really spoke for itself, the tuna carpaccio was absolutely exceptional, fresh and the best we have ever had, and we are quite harsh critics when it comes to food. The fillet of beef with cognac sauce was perfectly cooked, absolutely top quality steak. The croquant and tarte tatin desserts were also amazing, not too sweet and beautifully balanced. We were so impressed and as other reviews said, surprised this place wasn't packed. It's hard to decide where to eat in Nice but this without doubt has left an amazing impression. This is a must, don't be put off if it looks quiet and just appreciate the quality.
