An excellent stay! For the price, you are definitely getting value for money staying here, as Nice is generally quite expensive to stay. The rooms were spacious, clean & nicely decorated. You get towels and a free map of the city. Bed was very comfortable and wifi worked in room. The B&B had a nice atmosphere and the breakfast was good too. The B&B is in a quiet area of Nice and the location was very convenient for visiting the city; it was 10 minutes walk to the promenade and 5 minutes to the train station (which was excellent for day trips to other places in the Riviera like Monaco). The owner Genevieve was very friendly and helpful too. I would love to come back to this place when I visit Nice again.

Genevieve, the landlady, is very accommodating. She works hards to run a quiet and clean house. The building isn`t far from the train station nor a long walk to the pedestrianized shopping/food areas, the Promenade or the Old Town. It feels incredibly safe to walk around Nice any time of day or nite and this building is in a professional area, so quieter than others. The continental includes VERY fresh breads and mini-croissant choices as well as fresh fruit, yogurts, juice and coffee, tea, herbal teas.. It`s on a long table, so all the guests sit together & mingle. Rooms very clean, comfortable beds. Bathrooms are adjacent the rooms, so a bit of sharing, but as only 5 rooms, no real problem. Plenty of hot water, too! A banister would be useful for the bath, however. Bed & pillow comfortable and slept very well (which does NOT always happen!) Wi-fi included a useful inclusion. A large flat screen TV, too. There is also a hair dryer available... Genevieve generously sold me some stamps as it was Easter Holiday with a postbox nearby.
If you expect luxury, pay more; but if you want a solid family-run place, go here... Very reasonable for Nice!!!

The place is 8 minutes away from the sea front and 10 minute away from a train station. Clean rooms, 2 bathrooms, great breakfast, a fridge in the kitchen. Genevievie is helpful and sweet and gives you a map of Nice and lots of tips. Definitely worth every penny.

This B & B was easy to get to from the train station, in a centrally located yet safe part of town, clean, with a good breakfast, and appropriately priced. Genevieve speaks some English so communicating is not a problem. Good value for an expensive area.

Room Tip: rooms with private bath are available and worth the price to us

We are a young couple, needed an accommodation near Massena (square in the centre of Nice). The Home Sweet Home simply works.

The hotel, despite its location in the heart of Nice, is quiet.

We stayed in room called "Gounod" in early September. The spacious room has a double bed + a single bed = works also for 3 persons.
Domestic facilities (iron, board).
Movable air conditioner in the room (big noisy thing on wheels).
2 bathrooms (shared in the whole B&B, but it's not at all inconvenient), very clean and in order.
Quick, unclotted internet.
Very simple breakfast.

Suitable indeed.
