Ok first of all: Kudos this place is fresh.
The food that is.
Tables were VERY sticky. Like napkins sticking to the table. Decor is really cute though!
Italian rice balls were very sticky. And cold in the center the first time. They made us other ones but still VERY sticky, heavy and cheese slightly warmer. Mini burgers were ok. Fried small fish weren't fried enough to our taste. But hey what do we know. The ceviche was HUGE way too much. But well marinated and most of all fresh and for that in Marseille is a big statement. That doesn't save them from missing the BIGGEST picture. It doesn't matter if your portions are big. It matters that is it well cooked!!

We recently had dinner here on a Tuesday evening as it was conveniently located very close to our accommodation. We arrived fairly early so there was no problem with seating. The service was excellent and friendly. We shared four plates of tapas - fresh hummus and aubergines with flat bread, mussels in a bean and tomato sauce, lightly crumbed fresh fish and zucchini flowers. The serves were extremely generous. There was far too much food for the two of us, but it might be just enough for others. We had a glass of wine each and that was also very good. Would highly recommend.

We had booked this restaurant on-line via their web site ahead of our trip to Marseille on the basis of reviews from a number of sources. We had a confirmatory e-mail looking forward to seeing us. Having got a taxi there from our hotel we found that the restaurant was closed for a private function. Producing evidence of our booking confirmation produced little more than a shrug of the shoulders. No apology or explanation (albeit their English was not much better than our French) and we were back out on the street looking for somewhere else to eat. Not a great example of customer service I am afraid.

I have to admit, i am an Italian who usually does not like very much French cousine, but this...gosh, was excellent. And I say it due to the quality of the food, the very nice interior design and the reasonable prices (great, compared to other restaurantes in France) We tried this option were you can order 3 dishes for a fixed price (less then 30 euros). We had great fresh fish, fois gras and good wine. At the beginning I tought the amount of the food was little, but after all the dishes I felt more than satisfied. i strongly recommend this place.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and most of all, for a tapas-style meal, actually filling. Methinks the menu changes according to season, not entirely sure, but the Akolytes burger blew our minds, so if it's on offer, try it.

The waiting time for the food was a little bit long, but it appeared to be a one-man-show in the kitchen, and besides, the food was totally worth the wait, so our advice is, come here when you're not absolutely ravenously starving.

The service was fantastic - we didn't wait to long to be presented with the blackboard, and had the dishes explained to us. Waiting time for orders to be taken wasn't long either, and we appreciated how quickly the plates were cleared to make room for the upcoming dishes.

It wasn't cheap, but it was a good value meal, when all is said and done. The restaurant is super chic, and great for romantic dinners. We're definitely returning to this restaurant on our next trip.
