With a sun-drenched day, we skied to a halt at Le Bel Air on the off-chance of getting a lunch-time table (for 5) - what chance(!), we thought, given the known popularity of this place! Luckily we were able to tuck into the omelette and salad and were enjoined by a host of other nearby tables for the banter that ensues when the Irish meet the Scots (post 6 nations rugby chat!). This is a sharp place to sit - great outlooks to the piste and excellent, fairly priced food. Great for coffees as well. But for lunch, best to book!
