I went to Le Cap Horn with a friend for lunch, during our skiing trip in Courchevel. The general atmosphere and interior design are definitely top; it was funny for us to discover paparazzi were as common as other guests - however, food tends to be rather expensive.
Our experience was definitely unique as we enjoyed our truffle meals - worth trying!

If you wanna dine the best seafood wuth the top people, then you have to go to Le Cap Horn. The place seems a little bit worn out and rustic as the owner hap placed everything he put his hands on as furniture but as a whole it look s nice.
It is always very crowded but food is very very good and service is dependable.
Dersert buffett will blow your mind off.
Definetely recommended.

We're frequent skiers in Courchevel and have always managed to ski right past Cap Horn. French friends of us persuaded us to stop for lunch one day.
Blimey.
It's all very nice and buzzing outside when the sun shines. Walk in past the valet ski parking, the Maserati on display and the outside bars laden with Grey Goose and Dom Perignon bottles.
Having a Frenchman in our party helped secure a table for 6 without a booking.
You could spend a fortune here on food and drink in the blink of an eye. I opted for the more reasonable tartiflette at €16 and a large beer ( personally I never drink Dom at lunchtimes....)
For such an establishment serving the best of everything they have a naff selection of beers on offer. Heineken? Really? Cone on chaps raise your game.
For mortals like me dining here is an experience. It's well staffed. By immaculately turned out waiters as you would expect. Many diners obviously hadn't spent the morning anywhere near snow judging by the furs and bling on show.
The food was ok - sorry but the Bouc Blanc serves better tartiflette. I guess people don't stop here for such menial dishes but it is good that Cap Horn still has a place for them on its menu.
Like the Folie Douce there is music playing constantly and this gets LOUDER as the afternoon progresses.
We departed before our ears started to bleed.
It was worth visiting for the experience but doubt we'll return.
Our French friend recognised some celebs and wealthy business owners there but they were wasted on me.
We did spot Dom Jolly at the Courchneige though later in the week though - chalk and fromage I guess!
