Description: Located right in the heart of Courchevel, l'Arbé restaurant welcomes you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It's open all day as soon as 8.30am with a continental breakfast menu and then in a non-stop service until 11.00pm. Enjoy traditional Savoyard food as well as the "dish of the day". Home-made pastries by Cécile: it's a treat! Jean-Luc works with the best winemakers to offer the best quality wines. And still: gluten free and vegan dishes.

Good steaks very generous portions. After that you have traditional alp plats tartiflette, fondus. The staff are friendly if little stressed as they are flat out due to the popularity of the place. For Courchevel you might even call it a cheaper place to eat lol.

This is a lovely place with warm, genuine service. It transforms itself from a breakfast spot to lunch then a place to pop in for an afternoon tea and coffee and then an intimate dinner. When we arrived, with no booking, we were warmly greeted and given a choice of one of two tables for our quick lunch. The second of these two tables was quickly snapped up - the place was packed. We enjoyed steaming generous bowls of French onion soup with delicious bread so a simple lunch but all that we needed. Nearby diners were tucking into lovely looking plates of food - if only we were hungrier!. Will definitely return for the warmth and the quality of food.

A truly excellent restaurant. Somewhat 'packed together' but very atmospheric with good food and a good selection of wines, all at affordable prices.

Thankfully LÄrbe still offers mountain Savoyarde food at reasonable prices. Fondues ,hot stones and raclettes are all available with great salads. Their wine prices are getting unreasonable, but overall it's still good value and the atmosphere makes it very worthwhile. Book early too.

Have been to Courchevel 1850 many times lucking out on good snow year after year (go for early March and cross your fingers). It's a great grand resort with the best choice of slopes accommodation and sheer magnitude I've seen in Europe or anywhere else for that matter. We found this gem two years ago and have been back....seven...count them...times and why not ?! This is a bustling energetic and both warm and warm hearted local eatery with the best of local food cooked to perfection which in this region means steaks, chicken, fish salads, charcuterie and here's the kicker - fondue to die for. There are half a dozen kinds on order but our crowd fell for the fondue with cepes which are delicate mushrooms cooked up in a subtle and yet swimmingly rich swirl of cheese wine spices and other secret ingredients accompanied by a big basket of bread squares for dipping. Do that with a big salad and charcuterie and the local wine they serve which is smooth round and with a delightful finish with scent of rasberries and you will go rolling down the slopes a very happy camper...er skier. Also right in the heart of the 1850 village tucked behind the main thoroughfare. The manager is the kind of dynamic warm hearted and lovely guy who maestros the place with relish and the staff is attentive and warm as the hearth-like cozy oak interior. Great for lunch also. Say those crazy people who came 3-4 times in a row the last two years for the fondue with cepes told you and they will know who you are talking about....
