Very good hotel, mountain view from the window. A very good restaurant on the groundfloor. Breakfast is included in the room rate and can be enjoyed on the 1st floor. Parking is available in the garage at 12 EUR per night.

Stayed for 11 nights, check-in was trouble free and all staff helpful and professional. Hotel is well located for access to trams and buses and easy walking distance to the city centre. Breakfast and meals looked nice however I thought they were not competivly priced, there is a lot of local places offering breakfast and evening meals at more affordable prices. The bar however served a fair range of drinks at roughly the same price of those in the city centre. I was confused to find the bar only open at certain hours of the day, I feel this is a missed opportunity for the hotel to gain additional income. The room was very clean and comfortable with functioning a/c. Despite being in a main road it was very quiet and aided in a good nights sleep. Like most of the hotel I found the decor to be rather dull and dated, maybe the hotel is due a refurbishment soon. Overall the hotel met my needs and I would probably return again.

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Good location and room spotlessly clean, quite small but had tea/coffee making facilities plus small fridge which was very handy. Room itself was at end of a corridor and noisy during early hours of morning waking me up ( due to pipes). Excellent buffet breakfast and member of staff Laira was fabulous.

Menu creativity - Zero
Food quality - Zero
After staying at a very nice Mercure the previous evening with an admirable, creative menu and excellent food you cannot begin to imagine our disappointment with this establishment.

Dear Client,

Thank you for choosing our establishment for your stopover in Grenoble.
I'm sorry to read your dissatisfaction about the food.
Our catering offer is based on "homemade", and from fresh produce, which generally satisfies our customers.

The hotel is modern. The room amenities are not very good. As an example I asked for an iron and ironing board, I was advised that this is not available and would need to use a common ironing room (in a different room). Also no room service before 7pm. Laundry service is not great, needs to be collected before 8am and they do not follow instructions. I request for my clothes not to be washed over 40deg and to be dried naturally without a dryer. This was ignored and my clothes were shrunk when I received it. Also I stayed in a 'privilege room' with the assumption that it was a large room, this is not the case. All rooms are of the same size, privilege means free drinks from the in-room fridge. Overall an average stay for the same price as what larger chains like Hilton and Marriott charge.
