My friend and I spent 6 days in Baden Baden, at the hotel Quisisana. Tha town is really charming and the baths Caracalla are amazing. We recommend to book massages, they are really professional.
Quisisana hotel is very cosy and quiet, the staff is ready to help you with everything you might need. There is no restaurant in, but this in an occasion to try a diffent restaurant every evening. Breakfast is nothing extraodinary, but correct. The welleness centre is lovely.
5-10 minutes from the downtown on foot, through a beautiful park. only bad thing: the Kaffee un Kuchen is deceaving

Having spent three days and two very crazy nights at the notorious rollercoaster heaven "Europa Park" we were certainly ready to unwind in the unspeakable beauty of the Black Forest. I choose this destination with my family following the recent hype of the England football team staying in this perfect paradise.

Other hotels in Baden Baden seemed to be commanding large sums of money for what appeared to be average accommodation. I stumbled across this wild-card hotel while doing the usual of hunting the unknown hotels in tripadvisor and then typing them into google to see what they could offer.

We choose the Villa Quisisana after having received to the minute replies by email from a very competent receptionist who offered us what appeared to be the perfect deal, had they got it wrong??? We kept asking ourselves...

We couldn't have been further from the truth as when we arrived after searching for the place a bit, we walked into what seemed to be an extremely expensive apartment block with concierge/receptionist sitting waiting for our first request.

After a swift check-in, we zoomed up to the room in the superfast elevator and realized that our room was one of two on this floor which raised suspicion as to the size of the room already.

When we opened the door we experienced a huge apartment with two well equipped bedrooms with beautiful and quality furnishings. There was a little kitchenette with all appliances you could ask for. The lounge area was strangely linked to the huge marble bathroom with a two metre deep balcony that stretched across the entire width of the first room, balcony and bathroom. Let me tell you that the view off this balcony was amazing, totally spellbounding even in the rain that we had falling around us. Lets not dote on the fixtures and fittings, needless to say your usual LOEWE flatscreen television with brilliant art were abundant.

We ventured down to the SPA WELLNESS suite which was full of huge fun spa gadgetry with many rooms and fun things to play with despite the fact that I didnt understand how any of them worked. Buttons everywhere, marble bridges, waterfalls, outdoor saunas of two temperatures and a plunge pool cold enough to make even the manliest of men scream!

The next morning, after a wonderful meal in town at an Italian restaurant famous with many a visitor, we headed for the breakfast buffet where we greeted by what must have been the owner. The standard perfect manners and wonderful service with a great view out to the Black Forest turned the most mundane of occassions into an event.

We will be coming back soon, as soon as possible to this hotel which was as much as a bargain as we had hoped for and I just couldnt believe it. It has been a while since I have encountered such total care to attention at a beautiful hotel as most hotels seem to dwell on their reputation without ever paying each customer the attention they deserve.

Thankyou everyone who made our stay such a truly magical experience, we really cant wait to return.

;)
