It was a last minute stop over in Baden Baden. Room was wonderful- spacious (3rooms actually!), super clean and comfortable. Porter help bring our bags not only up to our room, but from the car! The safe in the room didn't work.

It was a little difficult to find the hotel, and there is no car access available. One of the waiters came out and took our luggage and directed us to the car park, which is a distance away (especially if you decide to carry your own luggage). The hotel is situated above the bar and restaurant on a paved walk way. Our room was at the top, which is up 2 flights of wooden stairs, there is no lift, and there are stairs up to the restaurant too. Check in was easy and someone took us up to our room. It was light and bright with a number of windows that opened up wide, to let the air through. There was no Air Conditioning, however there was a fan available to cool the room down if necessary. There was plenty of storage space for clothes in the wooden furniture. Outside the room there was a small kitchen area, however we did not use it. The bathroom was large, clean and looked new. Although there was no bath the walk in shower was good, and plenty of shampoos, lotions, etc. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was very good. All staff wear traditional outfits and the wooden furniture added to the authentic look. The beds were comfortable although the very large duvet, doubled over was not necessary. We loved being woken by the bells of the local church around 8.20. Breakfast was served in a cafe opposite the hotel, where we just gave our room number and were shown through. Breakfast was good with enough variety. We will look to stay again when we pass through, it was good value for money with a lovely location. The only 'problem' we encountered was an inability to understand how the TV and satellite worked, but a TV is not that important for us. The WiFi seemed fine.

Comfy room, warm with a decent shower!
Reasonably priced wholesome meals....dont order a starter if you want to finish the main course!
Twin beds requested & unusually for Germany that is what we got, opposed to double bedframe with single matress & duvet.

Room Tip: Front facing have the best view

The room is large and very nice bathroom . There is minimal communal kitchen in the hallway of the rooms which is fine for some situations the location is wonderful, the reception is confusing because it is the same restaurant , the internet is very weak in the rooms and you have to get the daily code of acess. The sheets are harsh and coverage of pillows and duvet is a fabric checkered very uncomfortable that seems tablecloth. It is cute to see, but not to sleep. The room is large and very nice bathroom .the breakfast is in another restaurant/hotel in front of and it was ok.

A little hard to find but in an ideal location. Easy walk to the Casino, Trinkhalle and Spas. Very friendly staff, great room with updated bathroom. Beer garden on site with fantastic food and service. Located in the pedestrian shopping area. Plenty to see and do. Only stayed one night, wish it had been longer.
