Was not able to find program info in advance either online or when visiting church (there was no staff around in the common area).
Concert turned out to be almost all modern music, challenging but not as enjoyable nor as we hoped.
Also it was extremely cold/unheated, staff did not tell audience that there were big red blankets to keep warm.
That info would have been very helpful!

Jakobskirche dates back to 1209 and has a beautiful alter. We were fortunate to attend Christmas Eve Service here. The congregation was very welcoming.

The exterior and interior of this church are very simple and plain, but the inside has been decorated with old tombstones and some old art work. I can only assume that it was destroyed during WWII and rebuilt.

A beautiful stone building placed in Jakobsplatz. Not very big and not out of common. There are at least three more impressive churches in Nuremberg,St Sebaldus,St Lorenz and Frauenkirche. But this one worth a short visit.
Across the street is another interesting church,Elisabethkirche.

St. Jacob (St. James in English) is a beautiful Lutheran church that has preserved its Catholic heritage. The folks minding the church and gift shop are simply wonderful. The art inside is truly beautiful. Don't miss it. It's right on a fun public square with a great market and spectacular fountain nearby.
